Multi Room Audio:
One of the things you can do to improve the quality of sound through out your home is by installing a good quality Home Theatre Amplifier and speakers.
What is Multi Room Audio? This means you can play different audio in different “zones” of the house. Say the kids are in the media room watching a movie while the adults are sharing a meal and having a drink on the deck. You can keep the TV sound dedicated to the media room while you play your favourite tracks out on the deck as well as in the kitchen/dining for when you step inside for a refill.
What are the benefits of Multi Room Audio?
* You can set up several zones throughout your home.
* You can play a different song/audio file in any zone of the house or you can group zones together
What do you need to achieve Multi Room Audio?
You need a multi zoned amplifier. We use the Denon Heos Home Theatre Amplifiers which are controlled by the Heos App. This can be installed on any smart device, which means you can control any zone from any device at any time.
The amplifier can be hard wired into existing speakers or if you are looking at a new install or upgrading then Denon do a range of speakers including hardwired and wireless:

We get a lot of enquiries about security systems where people are looking for camera’s to be installed for their security.
While camera’s are a fantastic security system as they can notify if someone is on your property as well as record what has happened, however what happens if someone tries to break in in the middle of the night when you are fast asleep and your phone is on silent so you don’t hear the notification from the camera’s?
That’s where alarm systems come into play.
There are so many options when it comes to what you can use for your property and what fits your budget which is why we use the Bosch Alarms. They have a great range of products and are good for the budget.

Some of the options available to you:
* You can install hardwired or wireless detectors depending on the location and lay out of your home.
* You can choose detectors with a pet allowance of up to 45KG
* They have remotes with panic buttons which allow you to activate the siren for personal safety.
* You can choose to send your notifications to your phone or to a monitoring station.
We think an alarm system with a siren plus push notification to your phone is the best intruder deterrent.
For a full security system we would always recommend both a camera system and some type of intruder alarm system.
This way not only will you get notified that someone is inside the house but you can check visually using the camera system.
The siren will scare off the intruder and the visual confirmation can be given to the police so they can track down the intruder.
