Sunshine Antenna Service Newsletter October 2024

Here’s the full version of our October newsletter

Welcome to our October Newsletter. It has been a busy couple of months here on the ranch, with new products under test as well as lots of work out in the field. It’s been go, go, go for us all.

What’s new in Security?

Hugh and Mandy have been busy designing and creating a brand new display in the office with all the moving (and talking) parts of a complete security system for you. If Security is something you have been thinking about, then this system could be exactly what you are looking for.

Our standard kit comes with 6x 6MP Cameras, an 8 Channel NVR, Intercom, Indoor touch screen, 2x Detectors, Alarm panel, Siren, Key Fob and Door Control. We are very excited about this new system.

It can be tailored specifically for you, so that means you can have anywhere between 2 & 16 cameras. You can alarm all your doors and windows. You can see who’s at the front door, even when you’re not home. We even have cameras that can talk for you and can arrange automatic locks that you can open from inside.

Kits can be upgraded, downgraded or customised to your exact needs. Give our Office a call on 54791999 for a free in home consultation with our qualified Security Technician.

Travelling Satellite Kits

Now that the house is taken care of with your brand new secuirty system, you can take off for that well-deserved break. I am a firm believer in living in the moment and enjoying life while it’s there to be enjoyed.

And while we are out enjoying the sites that there are to be had across this beautiful country, there are also days where the weather just makes it impossible to get out and about or maybe you simply want to make sure you’re keeping up with the news (or the Kardashians)

TV still plays an important role in travelling, especially when the kids are with you. Not all antennas are equal but satellite is at least a constant. We are restocking the Travellers Kits which contain everything you need to receive the VAST (Viewer Access Satellite TV)

What’s in a Kit? You get an 80cm folding arm satellite dish with padded carry bag. There is 8m of premium grade RG6 cable to run from the dish to your Altech VAST decoder once you’ve used your Satking SK3200 Satellite Finder to get you set up and connected to the Satellite. All that’s left is to hook your decoder up to the TV using your brand new HDMI cable and then you can sit back and enjoy some of your favourites.

We understand Satellite isn’t for everyone, so if a TV antenna is still your prefered method we can’t go past the Winegard Sensar, with it’s Horizontal and Vertical capabilities, plus the ability to pick up VHF & UHF signals it really is the go anywhere antenna.

We have a large supply of Winegard parts available for purchase in our shop, or as always, our team are here to help you solve all your antenna issues out on site.

Spooky Season

I love a good Halloween party but I also love a good night in watching some of my favourite Halloween movies. Whether you’re a closet Disney fan or a flat out Horror enthusiast, a lot of us now a days relay heavily on streaming services for our entertainment. Halloween is no exception. From streaming your spooky playlist on Spotify to binge watching all your favourite flix, your internet service needs to be up to par.

While we don’t provide internet services as such, we can help improve the signal strength in your home through the use of wifi mesh systems or by hard wiring your TV directly to your modem so there will be less chance of the internet drop out just as your favourite character is about to enter the basement. We all know, no matter how loud you yell at the screen, you can’t stop them from entering the basement, but you can stop the chance of the internet drop outs.

We hope that there was something of interest for you in this months newsletter. As always we welcome your feed back and suggestions if there is something you would like us to review or talk about in our next newsletter please email us at info@sunshineantenna.com.au

Until next time, keep smiling.

Mandy and the Sunshine Antenna Service team
